Same-day visits, ongoing family medicine, sports and orthopedic injuries, and DOT physicals — same provider, same records, no referral across town.
Most people end up with a primary care office, somewhere else to go when that office cannot see them today, an orthopedist across town, and somewhere different again for wellness. Four sets of records, four waiting rooms, four people who do not talk to each other.
Twenty-One Medical covers all of it in one place, with one provider and one chart.
Ongoing care for the things that need managing year after year, and the routine visits that keep them from becoming emergencies.
Patients from about age five upward are seen here — a school sports physical and a grandparent's blood-pressure check can be the same trip. This is not a pediatric practice, and children should still have their own pediatrician for well-child care and immunizations.
When something comes up today, you do not need an emergency room for most of it, and you should not have to wait two weeks for a primary care slot either.
Call the office and ask. Same-day visits are often available during office hours. If you would rather hold a time, request one online.
This is where the practice came from. Years spent in orthopedic surgery mean the injury does not get referred across town for an opinion it can get here.
Certified Department of Transportation exams for commercial drivers, usually available the same week. DOT physicals are not billed to insurance — call for the current cash price.
Video visits are available for patients in North Carolina and South Carolina, for the visit types that do not need hands or equipment. Request a telehealth follow-up online and select the video visit option.
We take insurance, and we also offer self-pay and memberships. Some services — DOT physicals, IV therapy, peptide therapy and most aesthetic treatments — are not covered by insurance. Call the office and we will check your specific plan, or talk you through the self-pay and membership options, before you book.
Yes. Primary care is the core of this practice. Request a “New Patient — Establishing Care” visit online to start.
From about age five upward. We can see a child for a minor injury, an ear infection or a sore throat, but this is not a pediatric practice — children still need their own pediatrician, and we do not administer childhood vaccines.
No. We do not administer vaccines or immunizations. Your pediatrician, primary care office or a retail pharmacy can help with those.
Chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, head injury, stroke symptoms, or anything you think might be life-threatening — go to an ER or call 911. Do not wait for us.
